Human Rights Committee letter to Belarus

The AEA-EAL Human Rights Committee is deeply concerned with violations of rights of Belorussian Lawyers. For many years their independence has been limited. Many of our colleagues were threatened, disbarred, persecuted or even imprisoned. The Human RIghts Committee called Belorussian authorities – President of the Republic and Minister of Justice to undertake all possible actions to stop persecution of independent advocates in Belarus.
