The Centre for Constitutionalism and Human Rights of the European Humanities University in partnership with International Partnership of ILIA Alumni and Experts, will organize scientific-practical conference on June 20, 2025, titled „The Human Rights Lawyers’ Movement and the Convention on the Protection of the Profession of Lawyer: Theoretical Aspects, Best Practices, and New Challenges.”
The conference is dedicated to the adoption of the Convention on the Protection of the Profession of Lawyer, focusing on its implementation across state parties. The Conference is expected to be attended by international experts and representatives of European bar associations.
One of the key highlights of the program will be the address delivered by Mr. David Asatiani, President of the AEA-EAL, on the topic: “The Role of the State and Bar Associations in Strengthening the Standards of the Legal Profession.”
We are also honored to announce the participation of Mrs. Maria Ślązak, Immediate Past President of the AEA-EAL, and Mr. Nielson Sanchez-Stewart, Vice-President of the Association. Both will contribute to the discussions as distinguished experts, sharing their extensive professional experience and valuable insights.
Additionally, Ms. Monique Stengel, member of the AEA-EAL Board of Directors, will be joining the conference and actively engaging in the discussions.
