The author of the paintings on posters is Polish painter Elzbieta Szolomiak, born in 1940. She used to travel worldwide, observing women living in many different countries and painting their pictures in very different situations. And as she said, giving permission to use her paintings for the poster of the conference- war is death, it is totally opposite to women’s nature of giving and protecting life.
