Celebrations in Gdańsk are coming – 13-15 October!

The Gdańsk Bar of Attorneys-at-Law, in partnership with the AEA-EAL, organises a special event to commemorate the 40th Anniversary of the Bar of Attorneys-at-law, It is scheduled for 13-15 October
Gdańsk itself is a beautiful coastal city. It is described by major guides and travel websites as the „Pearl of Central Europe” and the „most underrated tourist destination in Europe”. With its medieval Old Town, historic background, including being the biggest Hansa port in the Baltic, well-developed infrastructure and friendly inhabitants, it is a must-see place.
You can find below a short description of planned events:
/1/ two-day conference on Thursday and Friday (October 13-14) „Business. Algorithm. Law. International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity” with participation, inter alia, Rafał Wiewiórowski, European Data Protection Supervisor, C. M. Chan, President of the Hong Kong Law Society and Carmen Raal, Chair of the e-Estonia Briefing Centre. We are pleased to inform you that Iain Mitchell QC, Chair of the AEA-EAL IT Committee is chairing the panel on Digitalisation of Justice.
The conference venue is Radisson Hotel & Suites Gdansk, Chmielna 10-25, 80-748 Poland.
/2/ Gala in the Gdańsk Music Academy to commemorate the 40th Anniversary of the Bar of Attorneys-at-law on Saturday (October 15).
The program is following:
- Thursday, October 13
09:15 – 16:00 – 1st day of the Conference
19.00 – 22.00 – buffet dinner (hours TBC)
- Friday, October 14
09:15 – 17:15 – 2nd day of the Conference
- Saturday, October 15
09:30 – 13:00 – city seeing for foreign guests
18:00 – Gala, reception and the party on the occasion of the 40th Anniversary of the Bar of Attorneys-at-law
